Hi people :
I was trying to make space in the hard disk of the PC of my son to install a huge game. It has WinME.
I do not remember to have deleted any related to the operating system, but all of a sudden, the accents in the spanish keyboard stopped working.
I´ve tried to reconfigure it with the corresponding configuration type in Control Pannel -> Keyboard -> Languages, but no way. Besides I´ve removed it in Properties with right click in My PC, and after reboot, the keyboard was reconfigured.
All the keys are where the keyboard has them, but the accent for vocals, and the ^ sign do not work (Alt Gr ^ space). If I type the vocals with accent entering the ASCII code (Alt + numeric pad) they do appear (ASCII 160 : á, 130 : é, 161 : í, 162 : ó & 163 : ú).
What can I do to revive the accents (without reinstalling WinME) ?

Hi :
They were working, and all of a sudden (without changing the keyboard language, nor the keyboard itself) no more accents.

Can you check your Control Panel and see if you have correct Spanish keyboard layout/IME (under locale)
Note, there are two things... one is input language, and the other one is keyboard layout
