Hi,
End of Netscape calander.
When I went to log in to my calander I got this message.
I am very sad about this change.
I have been using it for years.

Dear Valued Netscape Member,
On July 21th, 2004, the Netscape Calendar product will no longer be available. If you have important dates on your Calendar we suggest you either print and save those dates, or input that information into another Calendar product.

We are actively working to improve the Netscape experience, and plan to launch a new and improved calendar product in the near future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and hope this advance notice will allow you ample time to find an alternative solution. As always, we thank you for being a Netscape member. Your patience during this change is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Netscape Support Team

I want to see Netscape with calander back.
That is probably not going to happen though.

That's why there's Mozilla Calendar is for. Even if it isn't easy to get your info online, it still works, doesn't it? If you have a Palm-compatible handheld PC, you can always use Palm Desktop on multiple computers and sync your data with the handheld.

I believe Bryan is talking about the online service from Netscape Network.

Which probably means that the Netscape Calendar product will be relaunched with a limited
version of the soon to be discontinued product. This limited version will be available free of
charge, but to be able to get and use the full version of the product, you'll probably need
to subscribe to AOL and then be forced to use an AOL branded version of the product.

Which is pretty much what AOL did to the (previously free) Radio @ Netscape service . . .

SeaMonkey = Swiss Army Knife: It's versatile, reliable, and contains useful tools.
Windows Internet Explorer = Old Swiss Cheese: Full of holes, and it stinks!

Pay for an online calendar? It seems that AOL is going the way of MSN in terms of services.

Any other Web based Calanders?
I need to get one setup soon.
Like before the 21st of this month.
I am not happy about this.

Just logged in the Netscape Netcenter Calendar, and I don't see any signs about closing down of it.

Thanks Bryan.
Please resize the screenshot to no wider than 550 pixel, otherwise, use external links.
