Why is it that when an announcement comes from Silly Dog that a folder I"m watching has new messages and provides me with a link to see those messages, the link often fails? I will sometimes find that sillydog.org cannot be found.. or I'll simply draw a blank page with Netscape is resolving the page or something like that. Then I either have to try again (sometimes several more tries) or access Silly Dog by going through another means other than the link.

My doctor said I was paranoid. Well, he didn't actually say it, but I could tell he was thinking it.

If you're seeing a message that sillydog.org can't be found, that is because your Internet provider's domain name server (DNS) is down, your Internet connection cannot connect to the DNS (which happened a lot when I had a dialup account!), or it temporarily can't find sillydog.org (resolve the hostname).

Generally, it's only temporary, and clicking Reload should bring up the page afterwards.

Lately, some (including myself) have reported problems accessing Silly Dog, which have been brought to Antony's attention.
