18 Aug, 2009 8:18 pm Unable to play media files [sdp=97686]

For some reason I can't play any of my media files.

I thought it was just itunes. But's its WMP and MediaMonkey.

I can select a song to play, but the song never starts and the counter never leave 0:00.

Any tips?

Hey John-

Nice work.

I do a ton with music and video. The one problem I have run into, this is just for you for the future, is when I am copying one of my external 1Tb drives from one computer to a drive from another computer, sometimes the drive letter gets changed. So, none of my players will "see" the new content. You can change the drive letter back in Administrative Tools, or just reconfigure the plaer to monitor the new paths.

Any snow yet?

Richard-

I've had problems, such as entire ablums not showing up in iTunes, and not syncing with my iPod in Songbird or MediaMonkey.

I don't keep my media on a different drive, for cost reasons, but is backed up on three machines, and every digital album I buy has a physically burned copy.

No snow yet, in Pulaski or in Red Creek. But I will post and take pictures when it's here. I'm also going out to Michigan for Christmas, so I will be sure to report on the conditions there.

Still a PC, always have been, seeing no reason to change.
