Internet Explorer is disabled yet it still pops up when I click a link that is not already in the Firefox program. When I click a link in a Thunderbird E-Mail message bam! up comes Internet Explorer. Firefox is the Windows XP default program yet Internet Explorer still comes up when any link is clicked whether or not Firefox is on. Any suggestions?

There are two suggestions I have. The first is to go reset Firefox as the default browser by launching it and then going to Tools -> Options -> Check Now (in 1.5, not sure if this translates to 1.0.x or not), then select Yes. Next, go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Set Program Access and Defaults, expand the "Custom" menu, select the radio button for "Mozilla Firefox", and click OK.

Don is correct, for all sorts of Firefox. However, some links willl insist in opening in IE. Since I block IE with Zone Alarm, the choice is mine to, either say no, and take name the address name, and open it with IE, and then gripe. This used to happen, a lot, in the past, but not so much any more.

I tried both suggestions and both were in need of change.
Thankyou
