15 Mar, 2008 9:43 pm Your Windows Vista Experience Index? [sdp=90715]

I know we probably have some of those Vista Windows Experience Index scattered around somewhere. I think it might be a good idea to a thread for Vista Experience Index (rank).

If you have Microsoft Windows Vista installed, please post a screenshot of the "Windows Experience Index" (should be under Control Panel > Performance Information and Tools or right click on My Computer > Properties), and a brief mention about the specs of the machine. Thanks.

I will start with my old index (posted somewhere before):

It was Vista RC1 under Boot Camp in November 2006.

Machine: iMac 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, (then) 2GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 128MB.

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12

Vista is just as fast as XP here, aside from in games when XP is about 3% faster. (TBH, 4GB ram really helps with Vista... whereas in XP 2GB is plenty)

Machine: Core 2 Duo E6300, 4GB DDR2-800 memory, Geforce 8800 GTS 320MB video card.

My Vista experience index changed slightly from 2.9 to 3.0 after upgrading it to Service Pack 1 (which was released today).
